Heading to Lake Cooper Monday morning. Anyone doing any good. I have not fished this lake this year. Are the big females in the creeks yet? Thanks, Waterdog

Fished Monday morning ended up with 12 huge female crappie, one male, and a 5lb. bass. Out of various creeks, on the south end. Monday afternoon, when the wind change to out of the Northwest they all got lockjaw. All in all a great trip man I love this lake for crappie.

Yea, let us know at least some of your honey holes. I've been hitting cooper at least once or twice a week, and have not hit the mother load yet. I pick up a few here and there but no strong spawn yet.
Nate Tight lines!

If you have a lake map, fish any of the creeks on the south side. I use a jig or jig and minnow, you have to keep moving from bush to bush, if they are there they will hit your jig. If you go into a creek and you go about 50 yards and no bits they are not in that creek pack up and go to the next. I have found that they not be in one creek and the next creek will be full. STAY ON THE MOVE, you cant wait for them to come to you.
