I was out there from 6:00 PM til sun down and never even seen a school pop up.I had been fishing every spot that I know on the south side and nothing. My graph did show alot of fish but never hook up with any. I need to know how high should I set the sens. on my graph maybe I've got it set to high(80%).ON DAYS LIKE THAT I WOULD NEVER WANT TO BE A GUIDE!

that depends on what kind of graph ur runnin. sometimes u just cant make them bite.

get u some SSS's from moestackleshop.com and give em a try. theyre not foolproof but theyre good enough to make em bite most of the time. and all u need is one bite to turn em on down there.

I was out there last evening as well. I would normaly never go on a saturday evening but it was my first break in my schedule and i needed a fix. I agree- no schooling/boils. But look at that boat traffic yesturday. Just to much surface action from to many other boats. I had a live well full of 3 inch shad, dropped them in 5 or 6 good locations and only bagged a few catfish and one small hybrid. Also cast my SSS's all over good graph's of fish an not much action. Don't worry about your graph- avoid the lake when its full of week enders.

Went outside of Yankee Creek Saturday at about 7:30 PM and got into a school busting the surface but because of the boat traffic and everyone trying to make it in before dark they didn't stay up long. Caught a 8 before they went down and then the rest of the time throwing a humdinger and slab ended up with 22 keepers before it got dark. The shad looked to be about 3 inches jumping out the water.

I've been out the last few evenings, from about 7 pm to after dark. Not really fishing but mainly marking schools. I've noticed that even though the wind has been from the east/southeast, most schools are on the east side up by Chandler's. In fact for the last week, the most fish I've marked have been just outside Chandler's no matter which way the wind has been blowing. Checked all the usual other spots too, like the peanut, jetty, RP, gravel pits, red barn, yankee, etc., but around Chandler's seems to be holding the fish the last 4-5 days. They have been in 25-28 feet and congregating around any small structure since the bottom around there is pretty flat and featureless. Just make a sweeping arc 200-300 yards outside the marina and I'll bet you'll find 'em.

And this evening (Sunday) my chrome humdingers seemed to produce well, especially when cast out and brought back fast about 15' down. Bouncing the bottom didn't seem to do so well.
