Not too shabby! I imagine it was pretty tough out there. It was really nice to meet some of the RHBC members . You all really have a nice club .

This little lake holds some toads! Unfortunately, we couldn't find them today. We caught lots of fish, but most were in the 13 inch size. A little frustrating, but that's fishing. Congrats to the guys who got on them today! Great job by the Crooks! We had 20 boats today for a July tournament that's a 90 minute ride from home in 100+ degree heat. That's an awesome turnout. Thanks to everyone that came out! And thanks to John and Elaine at Crucial Tackle for opening the store early for us. We truly appreciate it. Robert, I had fun today. Thanks for the back seat.

It was a good day on the water. It was good to start early, the heat wasn't a factor until late. We did have a scare when the cord to lift the trolling motor broke as we were heading to the weigh in. Nice little lake, we'll be back. Gotta get the most out of the 8.00 spent on a lake permit

Thanks for the congrats fellas, I'm pretty new to competitive bass fishing. I used to play competitive golf and thought they were arrogant. I was wrong. Although, the RHBC boys are a good group. I read this forum a lot, and have learned a lot from the guys who are willing to share with the newbys, I admit, we got lucky. I think the info I read must have helped. I always swore that if we ever we lucked into one, I'd spill my guts so here goes.....buzz bait early, good bites, one good fish. The 7 1/2 pounder came off a dock with muddy water (4 ft)and grass around it. I haven't learned how to fish deep yet. We tried it for a bit, but we felt like we were hybrid fishing on Hubbard. So Cal, Casey, Robert, thanks for what you do. Sorry I don't make manny meatings, I have my daughter on thursdays. Oh, and bankbeater, thanks for getting me started.
