That is a prime example of someone that does not know how to drive a high performance boat. This is from experience. I use to drag race boats, that guy had already lost control of the boat when he hit the first wave.

He should just be thankful that the camera boat had someone watching their "6".

At least nothing else happened. I've crossed peoples wakes before coming out of the launching area, but I was barely even on plane and I was just there because it was a narrow outlet and I maintained plenty of distance (I.E. a good 40-50 yards) between me and the boat in front of me.
On another note, what kind of boat was that?

It was a Cobra. I really had making that diagonal crossing. I give those waves a WIDE berth. I hit some rollers late in the evening last week and almost had to get some new underwear.

In the first part of the video he is already on the edge. I am not an experienced driver. I don't drive my boat even close to the edge. Don't want to end up like that guy. Even worse hurt someone who is ridng with me.

That goof ball wasn't wearing a life jacket. I don't get some people. Even when I was 20 and bullet proof I wore a life jacket.

Some people feel like the only speed is idle or full speed I guess. I've taken my dad's Ranger up to a little over 50 MPH, but that was on a calm day and no one was really around and I just did it to see how fast I could get it up to. We never run in that fast, and usually don't go much past 35 MPH which is where the motor is turning about 3800 RPM.

On another note, what kind of boat was that? The boat was a Legend Dominator. It is not the Legend we know today, but a copy of a Bullet hull that was made in Tennessee, I believe.

Was that on Lake Fork? It looked like one of the 515 bridges early in the vid.
I've never killed anyone, but I've read several obituaries with great enjoyment.

The video was made on Ross Barnett. The guy driving the boat works at a place called the Prop Shop. He was trying out a new prop. Not very successfully, however.
