Just curious what tactics and what depths, I here some people talk about top water but that seems to go away quickly this time of year. Stamford should be hot around 90 degrees I would think.

Everyone i have talked to said fish the cattails, fish in 1 foot of water but that was a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure how far the lake is down but the Texas Bass Couples have moved their tournament scheduled there for the end of July to Ivie.

I was there last week and it was slower than normal. Water was up to 92 degrees in some of my spots. Fish shallow in the cattails and you will catch them. Rule of thumb is if your trolling motor is stirring up mud, then your in the right depth. Lake caught some water and is in good shape for fishing.
LET IT SOAK!

Thanks for all the info. I guess if fishing in the cattails that means the topwater bight is not that good?
