If you aren't familiar with either, I would try Ray Rob for Sandbass. It is much easier to learn that lake than Texoma.

If you try Ray Roberts best bet is to launch on the sanger side of the damn. It free to enter there and launch I would start from the damn and work my way towards open water from there and you will run into the sandies

Big striper over little sandies anyday Have you not seen Brians report? Your thinking of choosing a sandie over a boat load of stripers

Sounds like somebody missed or ignored the pay box

I think the only free one is Pecan park off of FM 3002. I hate the $5 a person fee. On top of gas and everything else, it's too expensive to fish there often. I'm gonna invest in the state park pass.

I'm gonna invest in the state park pass. Pecan Creek Ramp is Free. There is a Pay Box. I believe its for "donations" or as a "goodwill gesture". The State Park Pass is a Very Good Investment. Pays for itself within a short time and can be used at other state parks(lakes)as well. Texoma for Stripers sounds good to me.

+1 for Texoma and a chance at a big Striper sounds good to me. _________________________
