How is Conroe for the carp? I have not had a chance to fish it but have been wanting to for sometime. I am out of the office the next two weeks but when I get back I will try and get together with you guys. I actually have been wanting to fish Lake Woodlands but you can only fish during the day. We would need to get up there a day earlier to bait up and come back the next day to fish. If anyone is interested please let me know and we can pick a date.

Frank

I'm interested in Lake Woodlands, Conroe, Houston, Livingston...

Getting/setting the time aside for it is another conversation...

I'm doing a day trip up to Austin this weekend to pick up some new/used banksticks and will most likely spend some time on Lady Bird. If anyone's interested in meeting up let me know.

jason, punctuation helps! wink

You said there are places on Lake Woodlands to fish at night? Public places? I know of the Northend Park (or is it North Park?), but much of the rest is private isn't it? And doesn't Northend Park close at 10ish?

lake houston is not so great, but I'll fish it anyway. if you look up an old post titled "Memorial day carp" you'll see some of the pics of carp we caught in the houston area about 3 min from my house. send fishinfiend or me a pm if your interested in fishing this weekend.

Jason,
I will get with you in a couple of weeks. I may be able to do an overnighter then. Is it safe and legal to fish that bridge? If you could bait it up early I could bring all the bait and range cubes we would need for 2 days. I heard that there are not a lot of carp in there but I am sure it has some big ones.

Frank
