Can anyone please tell me where there are some brush piles in cooper lake and lake tawakoni? I am new to crappie fishing and would like to find some piles that hold a few fish. Thanks for any information you have. If you don't want to put it on the forum you can email me at chadreed88@yahoo.com

Thanks,
chad

The stripers on Tawakoni ate all of the crappie...Cooper is your best bet.

Leadhead will agree that's it's kind of hard to turn loose of locations brushpiles to people. We spent many hours locating them ourselves.

I didn't know you guided out on Cooper Lead. What kind of boat you in. I'll give you a shout if I see you.

Michael is an excellent guide. We caught 48 on our outing. I am going to schedule another trip with him, maybe 1/2 day. Are the crappie still biting Michael?

barndoor, we are still hammering them. They've moved around some but it's still really good. A little hot but good.

We found them on a hump hittin tail kickers.

We was fishing for Hybrids but they kept interrupting our fishing so we turned our attention solely on 'em with Jigs of any color.

I cleaned 42 between 1.5 and 2.50 lbs.

Filled 6, 1/2 lg. bags with fillets.

Yummy
