Just wanted to give a Kudos to a really nice person. I recently purchased some equipment from Guy, and got a really good deal in my opionion. I went to pickup the stuff, and he had cleaned the reels/rods, and equipped each one with 6# test line. Not only that --- then he offered to treat me to lunch. Don't think I didn't take advantage of the opportunity, I listened and learned, as he shared information about sinking trees, fishing docks, a few stories about the infamous CC, etc. Like I said -- I just wanted to give the guy Kudos for going the extra mile. Thats the same way he and Ernest were on the guided fishing trip that I took. By The Way Guy --- I slipped you an extra $5.00 in the payment for the equipment. (for the lunch)....knew you wouldn't have accepted it any other way. Thanks again --- your time/information was worth a heck of alot more than the lunch!

Hub_cap,
Right on man...mold got broke after God made Guy because Guy is younger than Ernest. Guy is an orginal man with lots of pure d greatness. Ernest too!!! A man can't go wrong learning from either. Glad you had a good lunch!!

You people have nailed it. It is worth his guide fee just to go out fishing with him and talk on a large array of subjects that have nothing to do with fishing. That is not to say that he will not teach you what you need to know. I learned half of what I now use just by watching him. The other half that was spoken was great too, but I can't remember stuff very well. Looks like I am going to have to schedule another trip with him to learn it again.

Hub_Cap, If you look in the dictionary under CLASS ACT you will more than likely find a picture of GUY and also one of ERNEST....If people just knew the time these two have spent on and off the water studying and learning I would guess they would be surprised if not in awe...The great thing about each is they don't mind sharing that info with us rookies with no hesitation...Thanks for your post and THANK YOU GUY AND ERNEST..... I ditto the last comment about guy and ernest. They have helped me so much. Guy is definately one of the classiest people I have ever come across. I vote for more fisherman like that man.

Dang, I get a tear in my eye reading those posts. My experience would simply be another echo of the statements about. Class acts, both of them.
