Had a blast over 4th weekend. I took my girlfriend down there for some R&R. Here first spec ever was a 23" caught at the packery channel. And it made her whole trip. Caught limits of trout while down there. Some Pompano, Snook with 2 keepers mixed in with alot of undersized fish. Lost one king I got to see do to not using steel. All in all was a great trip. Was not as crowded as I thought it might be. Unlike what many said it would be. Will add some pics later

Pics of Shelly and pics she said was ok to post lol! Here first ever spec!  And another spec  I am proud of here all specs were caught lure fishing and she almost caught her own limit twice on our trip.

I have fished Port A for many years and never caught a pompano. Did catch a snook once.

No I did not take the boat. And I was kicking myself for not doing so. But I will be back at the end of July then going back for my birthday in Aug. I will take my boat or we will take Piepunchers.

One of the best eating fish of the bay for sure. Looks like you two were fighting some wind in that second pic. P.S. Happy B-day Nitro
