What lake would you consider to be the best all-around TX lake. Im not talking just for big bass, but a combination of the whole experience.

Consider factors such as: Fish Size, Numbers, Diff. Species, Beauty, Water Quality, Difficulty Level, and other desirable characteristics.

I would have to say Squaw Creek. Many people did not have the chance to fish this lake, but I remeber fishing it as a little boy and it was awesome. At any time you could catch LMB, Smallies, Stipers, White Bass, and even Walleye! I can remember catching nice large mouth and smallies in the morning, then going up into a creek in the afternoon for limmits of whitebass, then later on catching large stripers trolling all in the same day.

The water was also very clear and beautifull making it great for swimming and cooling off. This is the kinda lake that can make an angler for life with all of the different angleing opportunities. Plus, it was easy to catch. I remember my mother catching a 4 lb smallie while dangleing a piece of shrimp off the back of the boat while me and my dad were fishing lures!

What do yall think?

I agree with the Amistad choice. I mean, I like Falcon, Fork was nice, Texoma interesting, Choke is good, etc..

But, Amistad to me has something the others don't.

Well I would not vote for Squaw Creek since you can't fish out there any more if you are not an employee of the power plant.

Lake Nacogdoches is a good lake.
