Finally got out to LL to join in on the boat shows for the Sandies. Man it was just like everyone's said out there. I counted up to 18 boats at one spot - but it wasn't a problem, everyone was very respectful. Took the great advice and tips I've learned here and cashed in. Top water action was crazy! Fished from 7:30 to 10:30 (or so) then all the sudden everything stopped and all the boats just disappeared. Can't wait to do it again. Next Monday - Lord willing.

Taking son and wife to Lewisville tomorrow morning. Are they up by the dam or north in the woods? Hopefully, I can get them into some topwater action. Went to Ray Roberts this morning. Not much happening.

You are probably going to find them out in the middle of the Southern end of the lake. They may not be right by the dam, but they will on that end of the lake. Yesterday, they moved all around. Started catching them 500 yards of the damn, and basically followed what seemed like the same school all day.

Today it was north of 121 cut and we followed them all the way down to the dam and halfway across. Too many fish to count and some good sized sandies.

we didnt get out until later around 10:30 or so and it was tough the north wind started blowing and it got kinda choppy. looked and saw several 10 to 20 second surface activity caught a few dinks and a couple decent sandies and two under Hybrids. Just took kids out and they had a great time in cool air.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
