What kind of turtle is that? Or was that?

It's more than the catfish would do.

idk... but I shot it with a judge... that gun was awesome... revolver that shoots .45 and 4/10 shotgun shells... two 4/10s did that turtle nicely.

I shot a turtle with a 357 magnum once. EWWW wont ever do that again. The shell exploded leaving the bottom part on the log.

Your pond though so you gotta do what you gotta do. How did you get rid of them? I think I would of left them in the water for the other fish to eat and dispose of. Not on the bank but in the middle of the pond.

And we have guys on here that cry every time a bass is shown laying on the carpet for a measurement or taken home for a trophy mount if it dies. Where are yall on this one?

The soft shell turtle is good on the BBQ..the meat under the shell will have different taste..some like chicken, like fish, frog legs..They are not hard to clean

They are also one of the indicator species, that lets you know that quality water..

They will seldom be found in muddy or unclean waters..

The judge is fun to shoot...I have 2 of them...One that I shoot and One that is still in the box...

They are a blast !!!!

Can we keep him as a pet ??
