The wife and I fished Tuesday after work and made all the rounds and seemed to just barely get in on any action. We arrived on the scene of 2 boat shows as everyone was moving on. Managed 10 sandies all evening.
Last night was a different story. As we motored toward the rock jetty my wife says let's check up by the bridge. I thought this would be a waste of time but just to please her we get there to find fish suspended halfway on the screen. The old ripping method paid off for a few and eventually the casting and swimming the TNT 180's finished off our limit in 2 hours. Guess I'll listen to my wife more often!

I agree with the title. Only difference is I never found them Tuesday evening. Glad you did! Always listen to the wife -- sometimes!!
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

man- this listening to the wife thing could really grow legs...
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Yep, Tuesday night was a bad night, glad you guys caught them last night though! I like that you realize listening to the woman is the right thing to do! We just have these "feelings" about stuff. Can't go wrong! Lol
When life gets you down, go fishing!

The old ripping method paid off for a few and eventually the casting and swimming the TNT 180's finished off our limit in 2 hours. Good wife right there, Also, good job on working those baits, many folks forget that they are more than just drop over the side bait. Slab baits can be one of the most versatile lures in the box if you let it be. I love that bite when you cast out 30 feet and get that hit away from the boat,
