Cool! I've never had 17 in one day before. Congrats! My best day was 8. Not that I'm complaining. I had so much fun catfishing yesterday that I think I'm gonna do it again tonight. Josey and Peters Colony

Yep. On the intersection of Josey and Peters Colony. East side. I've been fishing on the north east side (there's a small cove there). It's kinda nice you park right there and only have to walk a few steps to get to a good spot. There is a area on the east side of the pond where the water runs off. I bet that's a pretty good spot too although I've never tried it. I had one guy telling me that it's over fifteen feet now in the center of it. It was drained last year or early this year. But there are plenty of fish. I Googled it and it's called Woodlake Lake. I think there's a review of this pond on the ponds section of this forum. Here's the link to a map. Woodlake Lake Side note - My wife caught a HUGE turtle in there yesterday!

Went to the Josey Ranch pond this morning and again tonight, caught 9 bass total. They're hitting the Storm Wild Eye Live swimbait (sunfish)

Wow. You have a lot of ponds nearby to choose from. Houston, as humid and rainy as it may be, hasn't nearly the number of available ponds and lakes for fishing.

I haven't been in a couple of weeks now. Are you all still catching em and if so on what? I might go to the Carrollton library pond tomorrow...maybe. It's been just way to hot and I have a ton of work on my plate (i guess that's a good thing). I cannot wait until the temps cools a little!

Caught this pig this morning on a Top Water Frog at the Carrollton Library. Only caught 1 pounders up until then on this pond. I put her back in after the pics so everyone else has a shot. As a refernece, my shoulders are 21-22 inches across so this pig was close to 24. And yes, I have not set the date on my camera......
