Lady Bird lake is good. I drove up to shafer park on the colorado river last weekend and ended up with about 10 bass.

I really only know how to catch sunfish with a bobber and some bacon. But I'm looking for something do with a few buddies that gets us away from the city. Can you offer any tips on what I should fish with? Were there any spots in particular that were good?

get a cast net and go to a boat ramp about the time its getting dark and a little after. Catch you a bunch of shad and go catfishing
