Japan was creeping up on the radar for certain, but this is still a little shocking. In San Diego we're kind of always on WR watch, but not in July!

Japan has the complete opposite of a "slot" regulation and produces a world record that Texas tries so hard to attain. Sad

Fork is not 70 miles long either....from the looks of it, the lake this fish was caught from is bigger than Texoma.
260 square miles, 340 feet deep at deepest part. Amazing the LMB is considered an invasive fish in Japan and carp and eels are the species being invaded upon. Lake has mercury hot-spots as well.

I wasn't comparing to any lake Redfin, I was simply stating with all the management TPW does...heck Japan works hard to erradicate largemouth.
