I heard that there is vegatation on the north end of the lake, could someone please tell me how far north I would have to travel to find any, also is their a boat launch nearby. I've been fishing south for quite a while and veg. is not there. Are boat lanes present or how safe is it to run.

when we were there in April and it was all over Kickapoo once you went past the bridge.
As far as boat lanes I didn't see any, we just hugged the East bank then ran the highlines (idle around the island) then run the highlines the rest of the way to the bridge then it was just idling from there

Go to Chandler and take 315 South. Go over the bridge and there is a ramp on the left hand side of the road. Drop in there and go under the bridge,,, More Grass than you are wanting... Good Luck
