Went to lighthouse this p.m. Fishing was tough, no tide movement until dark. Ran to the lake and fished the lighted piers with not much luck. Talked to a few people at the ramp and not much catching going on. Going to the north end of the lake tomorrow afternoon.

In the middle of the lake they are fishing in pods of shad and catching good sized trout.

Yes but the wind was blowing hard so we decided to try the more protected areas. We've been doing very good there but the lack of tidal movement killed us. If you want to fish the open lake you have to go in the morning.

Yeah, I usually trust the tide charts but it seems within the last couple of weeks they have been not one or two hours off but more like three to five hours off.
