Last time out I just got up on plane turning about 4000 rpm and my motor started going from 4000rpm down to 1500 rpm and so forth while the temp and oil lights buzz and blink 2 times....
Any ideas what is happening???

James...There two reasons this senario will happen one is overrev condition but you said you was only turning 4500 so that probably not it the other is a bad thottle position sensor or it it is out of range or a bad temp switch I would bet it is the thottle sensor because that controls the fuel injector pulse width ......OPTI

Its esy to change but then it has to be calibrated to proper voltage and a DDTor a volt meter with a special harness has to used to do this....OPTI
