You only need to tell the police, "I feared for my life, I want to call my lawyer"  I didnt know CC was a bad area. Thats where my Parents want to retire to.

Tin Head, you need a spanking and be sent to bed without desert for not having that iron on your hip the minute the sun went down, or before. It's like insurance...when you need it, it's too late to go get it. 100% agreed... I did have my 22 rifle laying on the floor board of the the car. When I got there I loaded up the guns . When the other guys came back I put my back to the car and there was only enough space for one guy in front of me . which he could of easily been pushed back on the rocks.

i cant believe what some people will try to do to get a few bucks......they should be locked up forever trying to mess with a fisherman thats just trying to catch some supper....cant understand the world these days!!
i love to fish but catching is soooo much better!!

Cedar Creek is not the best place to be at night and alone.
If you do have to shoot a person, Do not talk to the police, they can use anything you say against you.
You only need to tell the police, "I feared for my life, I want to call my lawyer"
The other one I've heard is tell them, "I don't feel well. I need medical attention." That way they legally have to take you to the hospital. Anything they receive from you after that is in-admisable until you receive medical attention. After your short stay at the hospital, your adrenalin has slowed, your mind cleared, and you can give a statement. And be sure you say something about being scared, not that you were mad or having things stolen. You were afraid for your life. The cop in my CHL class told us to say that.

If that happened to me, I probably wouldn't fish arouond that area anymore, especially at night. Glad there wasn't an incident.
