Pleased to hear that long time friend Dan Blanton has been recognized and honored by membership into the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. http://www.danblanton.com/viewmessage.php?id=124234 The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM),located in Livingston Manor, NY announced the 2009 class of inductees to the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. Those inductees are: Frederick Halford, George E.M. Skues, Roman Moser, Bob Clouser, Gardner Grant, and Dan Blanton. The CFFCM website, www.cffcm.net and facebook page: Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum, will soon be updated with thumbnail bios and HOF member list. The CFFCM is the home of the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. Dan Blanton to be inducted into 2009 Fly Fishing Hall of Fame

I didn't know there was a hall of fame either for fly fishing. Well congrats Don, you have done a lot for the sport, and I greatly admire you. This is wonderful news!
