I just ran into a rattlesnake on the trail today. Last week had a mocassin or water snake (couldn't tell) follow my torpedo clear outta the water on to shore.

When I was 12....my dad and I were fishing a private tank in East Texas in Grand Saline. I had to run back to the truck to grab an extra rod and some gear. I took a different path back to the tank and came up hard on some tall grass at a small clearing. Within about a a couple of feet directly in front of me was the biggest damn rattler I have ever seen in my life to this day! FROZEN stiff....I watched as he lay coiled up and amazingly he didn't budge or shift at all! I don't how I managed it but in one lightening quick move I turned a 180 and bolted the hell outta there!

I think I know why Indiana Jones hates snakes! eeks

Here I am all worried about snakes and then on Monday I'm walking down a path near Katies Woods and something stung/bit me in the back of the thigh. Yeat it hurt for about 30 minutes but I shook it off. Well 36 hours later the swelling and red patch on my leg is now bigger than a softball and it itches like mad. Went to the Dr this morning and they gave me a booster shot of steroids and some oral steroids to take over the new 10 days. Them damn insects are worse than the snakes.....Now I'm going to go do a bunch of curls and see waht my max bench press is since I got some roids in my system...HAHA

Next time look up the meaning of the word sarcasm before posting a response to my clearly sarcastic reply. grin
Now why don't you go join the others and toss a few snakes around... laugh
