What are your favorite Summer patterns. I like fishing C-Rig and Jig in 20-30 feet on structure.

It is better to keep your mouth shut and remain a thought fool than to open it and remove all doubt. Come on silly fish open your mouth and I will remove all doubt!

Wake up around 7 on Saturday, look outside and know it's already 85 degrees. Go back to the couch, turn on ESPN2 and watch fishing.

Are you just dragging the jig or poppin off the bottom?

Topwater early. Flipping docks in the heat of the day or dragging a C-Rig.

Football Jig-3/4-1 oz, either stroked, popped or dragged.
Draggin a rig
Stroking a spoon
Swimbaits, stroked it reeled through suspended fish & bait
Dropshot on suspended fish
Shakyhead on stucture(roadbeds,ect)
Yellowmajic early and late or at noon in shade or shade lines
Froggys in the grass or pads
Strolling a dd22, 3/4 oz hotlips, dt20, dt16, manna 30+,ect

Let the fish tell you what they want!! Also Use Your Graph, bait is critical.
Might have missed a few but you get the idea, Gotta Love The Summertime!!

My Favorite Summer Technique and Bait Of Choice

- Sure like that Deep Water Jiggin, but really starting to build a little confidence in flipping the thick Mats with the oz and halfs

- Like a TR 10in Worm on a heavy weight

- If Im really wanting to Tune on them a little, a CR with Packs Baby Fork Creature sure works for Me

Gotta be Top water froggin over grass in the AM right before the sun is high,- say 6:30 or 7:00. Nothing beats those early morning explosions. Who needs coffee to get going at 6:00 am on a saturday when the frog bite is on!!!!!
