Just wondering if anyone has had the chance to fish Lake Champlain?? I started to fish it a few years back and can not get enough of this place it is aprox 3hours from my home so it does make it tough to fish for the day but it is so good for this area it is almost worth it. Thanks

You live 3hrs from Champ and your asking about it on the TFF?? I love the whole area from the Ticonderoga Ramp south. Lots of great grass and structure. Old railroad tracks just off deep water and Crigs from the shallow grass flats right to the deep channel drop offs. I need to get back!

I've never fished it, but it's on my list. One of the best summertime lakes in the country.

The reason for the post was to see if anyone travels up here to fish any of the larger bodies that we only get to a few times a year due to family and work commitments. From what I read on this site most of the guys seem to fish all over and seem to get alot which is great. I am heading uo to VT to fish Champlain tonight we are pulling out of the driveway @ 2:30 a.m. and hopefully will be fishing by 6:00 My bud and I can not wait. Texan til I Die if you ever pass thru MA heading to Champ you are more than welcome to bunk here. Have a great 4th and thanks for the info
