It is spider wire fluorocarbon 8lb test. I think it is more my technique than the line I am using. Maybe its because I fish like a girl! LOL

If you "fish like a girl", you'd have a more delicate touch than many guys. Perhaps it would pay to check your line for nicks, and check your knots.
Loosen that drag and play the fish. You'll have fun and land more fish.
Also, keep your rod tip up, let the spring of the rod cushion the stress on the line.
Don't worry, it all comes with time.

Yes that helped! Luv to fish told me the same thing and gave me a quick lesson on that very subject. Like I said I am learning and realize it just takes time to get into a groove. Thanks for your help! Feel free to do that often!

If U want to impress someone but it is alot of work unhooking fish, buy a bunch of cheap white 1/16 OZ maribu jigs from walmart. tie about 3 of them 1 foot apart and a small chartruse slab on bottom. You will reel in 4 at a time take a pic post here and U will b king oF TFF world for a minute. Harbor Bay Marina sells the best slabs for Hubbard (the one behind Snuffers) but launch @ Dalrock Harbor Bay charges 12$!
