You should have ate it. Seriously you should have made a youtube video of you filleting it and frying it up. I bet you would have received death threats, lol. Dead fish or not, I'd go with a replica anyway just for the fact they last longer. Jeez people it's a fish, a fish that more than likely was stocked by the state, just so someone could come and catch it and do whatever the heck they wanted to do with it legally. I promise they'll stock more.

Grats on the catch btw, ignore the haters, they'd secretly love to accidentally kill a fish that big.

I agree. How many bass do we catch and release every year? When a man catches a fish of a lifetime and wants to get it mounted if it dies he is all of a sudden judged and considered EVIL! Now he has a great trophy and can throw all of the little 9 and 10's back. Nice catch man.

if it was gonna die he did the right thing.... it would have just floated up and been devoured by turtles and water turkeys... which no one likes so at least its getting mounted.

GREAT FISH!

the way you have your arm extended all the way out and the size of the fishes mouth compared to your hand doesn't seem like a head of a 11 pound. I'm guessing 6.2!

Sorry man still don't believe it. thats like Bill dance holding a one pound fish all the way out to the camera to enlarge its size and calling it a 4 pounder. Sorry man I've never seen a fish over 8 pounds with that small of a mouth

Hey Pearl Jam That is my brother with this fish and I was with him when he caught this fish I weighed it myself and it was 11 lbs 12oz. That fish had a monster mouth on him. This picture does make the mouth look small. We have other pics we will post shortly to make haters like you shut up. That fish was 25 inches long and had a 20 inch girth. my brother is also 6'3 250 lbs so he is no small man. It is very rude to question another man's word and call him a liar when you dont even know him. We call people like you punks where i'm from. You got anything else smart to say come down to pleasanton and we can deal with this in person.

Its amazing how you make one small comment about something and someone jumps all over you and wants to fight you for questioning a catch.
