It's awesome to see such a big fish in a more normal state. Not all beat up/tail bleeding from bedding or bloated with eggs. Beautiful colors too.
That may not be a SAL (looks 10ish to me) but equally if not more impressive to me. Congrats!

It's awesome to see such a big fish in a more normal state. Not all beat up/tail bleeding from bedding or bloated with eggs. Beautiful colors too.

Nice fish man, when you going to be a guide? Not anytime soon. I am nowhere near that good. Too many "instant" guides out there as it is. I would think a man should pay his dues, learn the lake, and just respect the pecking order first and foremost. Maybe when I am living there full time and closer to retirement.

Just kidding! We have a great time fishing together. The last time I front ended you I remember I got pushed out of the boat.  .......seriously its always a blast fishing with Chad. Some days we catch them and some days we don't but we always have fun and keep things in perspective. hopefully I am in the boat when Chad catches another hawg. The best times are even better when spent with friends. Also like I told Chad the other day, no matter what I feel like the fish weighed the scales read 9lbs so I'll go with that. Its more about the experience and fun of catching it anyway.
