Chad and I hit Fork yesterday afternoon since Tawakoni was off limits for Champs. I have been on a good concentration of good slot fish with some bigger ones mixed in the last few weeks. just been having to adjust a bit to catch them but its been consistent. Crazy thing was she was in 95 degree water. Caught her in 6-8ft of water on a blue fleck LFT worm t-rigged. I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the LFT FluoroHybrid FC line. I was using the 26lb variety and she pulled down into some wood/brush and sawed the line pretty hard till I popped her up. Also got a give a thanks to Chad as he lipped her pretty quick when she surfaced. My scales acted up like crazy and finally gave me a weight of 9lbs but personally I think she was heavier than that. Possibly even a double digit if I was lucky enough but not by much. Who knows for sure as I did not want to stress her too hard and we got her back in the water ASAP. I loves me some Fork and all those days I am spending learning that lake are starting to pay off.

Thanks Mark. Those fishing lessons with you are paying off. ...being able to jave fishing mentors like you and the other guys at LFT is invaluable and I for one greatly appreciate the time you all give and also for some killer baits. BTW, it came from that same area I was talking about the other day.
