hi there, i am looking for a guide in dallas to go crappie fishing on july 18th. it could be up to 4 people(2 adults, 2 kids) we would love to get into some crappie. a half day trip will be plenty in this heat.

Got plenty on here from Cliff Spindle, To Guy, To Paul O'bier, to CrappieMaster, Chuck Rollins, and Dave Anderson just to name a few.
Just depends what lake you wanna fish and type of crappie fishing you want to learn/do.

check out Steve Bennett on Cypress Springs or Bob Sandlin... went out with him this week and even with bad conditions came home with a cooler full!

It's all good End of July and the first few weeks of August - that is my favorite time to catch em all - just to focus on those Crappie.
Navarro Mills and/or Aquilla - that time frame - it is there time.
But to catch them all (White Bass - Hybrids and Crappie - I would not look past Richland Chambers).
Those kids would love to catch the easy fish (tons of White Bass and Hybrids) - but if you want to catch (ONLY) those harder to catch fish (those kids might have more problems with those) we should go to Navarro mills.
