Greetings All,
Whas Up Wid T'ings at Texoma These Days???
After spending the last 4 years looking at the waters of Little Mineral in front of the house - and allll most at the front door in Spring '07 and this year too, we will be back on the water as soon as the Dog Days of Summer's heat breaks. My kinda luck for sure.

7 weeks ago I dug the Key West out of storage and hauled it to Gainesville where Ryan Emmert's North Texas Marine Service Shop had accepted the challange of making the Yamaha run again...with everything in the fuel system from tank to exhaust layered in dried out 4 year old oil & gas. Last Saturday I got it back, and could have made a down payment on a new house with the repair bill. But when Ryan tried to blow all the water out of the test tank, the thought struck me, "It's ALIVE AGAIN!! Just Like Me"...but I was grinnin the whole time I wrote the check.

A kind word of thanks here for the good folks at Dr Stanley Taylor's SWMed School's MOHS Clinic, Dr Verity's Cornea Rehab Group, Dr Pesa's Plastic Surgery Group in Dallas , Judy St Clair's PT Rehab Unit in Bonham and ALL the rest of the people who put up with my 'tude while rebuilding the rest of my carcass back togther at the Bonham & Dallas VA Hospitals over a 30+ month stretch with all the other stuff they found too. Got one more date with Dr Taylor in mid August and THAT should be the end of THAT fun for a while.

Still haven't had the boat wet yet, as the work schedule is still in the way but I think I am up to throwing the 'net again, dunno yet... but it's fixin to be "Game ON"
Ron

JD, It was a real pleasant surprise to see you couple weeks ago at the Tackle Box. After seeing the pic on SOG of the new boat... and a better looking partner than Mark! LOL! in the boat with you... NOW I understand the need for the size of that empty trailer I saw behind the BIG RED Dodge you got out of. What a good lookin rig! And VERY politcally correct for fishing TEXAS & OKLAHOMA folks out of.
I'll be in touch to followup on our brief conversation that day. I had to add 30 days to the schedule I gave you, to cover the extra overhead that the boat repair busted the budget by.
See Ya
Ron
