I was out there last weekend and it was tough. I put a keeper in the well before 6:05 (YM) and that was the only one. It was the first time on that lake for me and it was a B. Good luck out there, I hope that you do well! I am gonna go play with yer pets

1/4 ounce yellow magic looks a LOT like the shad that are swarming all over the place right now. dont be afraid to throw it in deep water next to floating structures....

Check heart rate, Pop, pop, pop, explosion, set hook, swing into boat, unhook, measure, deposit in livewell, check heart rate again.
Repeat this process often.
Seriously this is a great topwater bait. Do what these guys said and you will be fine.

Check heart rate, Pop, pop, pop, explosion, set hook, swing into boat depending on size, unhook, measure, deposit in livewell, check heart rate again.
Repeat this process often.

I use a loop note so the bait is free to move. I like to make it spit more than pop. It all depends on how you jerk it.

I like to use the 1/2 YM but I have always had trouble with the hooks breaking. Both the front and back hook seem to break. really frustrating to do this on a big fish.
