Last weekend after a long day on Lake Fork I was hungry as I could get!

We stopped in Sopa Taco not knowing what they had. After reading the menu I find out their specialty is their flatbread. I have not seen this around East Texas. The only place I've seen it was in the southwest near Grand Canyon. They called it Navaho bread. It's a deep fried bread much like a sopapilla.

They then put beans, lettuce, pico, and cheese on top. I opted for the shredded green chili chicken on top of mine. OH it was good.

We also tried the tacos and they were good too.

We got to talking to the owners and they are from Arizona. They just moved her in March to open this stand.

They have a covered pavilion to eat under. Yes it is BYOB too!

It's located on HWY 17 just in front of the public 515 ramp, next door to Froggy D's.

I did catch the lady saying they deliver to go orders to the public 515 ramp! Now that is a good idea!

Next time we get hungry we're getting delivery to the ramp and headind to the bridge to cool off and eat some lunch!

Check it out next time your around 515 and Lake Fork!

Try the Sopa Tacos!!

Deliver your lunch to the ramp? That is a great concept. Keeps you from having to tie up and go into eat. Sounds like I need to get their number for the next time I am down there.

We were loading up the boat Sunday and I noticed a golf cart heading down to the ramp. After we ate I asked what she was doing.....I was happy to hear that as well!
