Thanks everyone, Whitney is making me look good right now and I am loving every minute of it, well..... except for the sun and heat. I am either getting older or it's getting hotter. The Stripers are stil on a reaction strike, big Fish with empty guts. Live bait is just not getting it done right now (in my opinion) like artificials. I am sure some of the tried and true live bait guys are still catching good fish, I just know what is working in the redneck rig and brother is it working. May not be as fast action as one of your feeding frenzies you experiance on live bait but it is busy and the main thing is it is producing BIG FISH!!! Still locating big balls of bait and Stripers on ledges and edges and making them mad enough to tear up my baits. I wish I had a dollar for everytime someone handed me a rod the last couple of weeks and said, " Here Randy, I'm hung up" take the rod and pull hard against it and feel that tale tale head shake, nope not a tree, just a big fish!!! These fish are not real lively....................until they realize they have a hook in their lip. Just kind of laying around being a couch potatoe till some Redneck comes by and teases em by yanking a big ole swim bait past there nose and yanking it away causing that God givin instinct to take take over and they not being able to resist temptation reach out and grab a big #3 hook embedded in Plastic!!! Ha Ha, fooled ya!!!! Here's a few of the best of the catch pictures from the last few trips out this week. Enjoy, God Bless ya and hope to, " C Ya on the Water! HighTech By the way, if anyone wants to book a trip I do have some openings this week. Was going to Kansas to a wedding but had a change of plans due to a Bull Calf being born and the momma cow ain't producing enough milk so I gotta be around to bottle feed it. So I am trying to fill a hole in the calender where I have been turning down trips!!! His new name is Rib Eye!!! Soon as I convince the Wife!

Today started out slow, the fish had moved and took a while to find them. Once I did the bite was on, didn't produce the big fish we have been catching but still a lot of action and a lot of fun. Took Darren and Dylan Cuppett from Arlington out and I believe young Dylan called every fish and probably caught most of them. Love watching kiddoes having fun catching fish. Yesterday I had a last minute deal at Whitney with Marshal Bray and Christopher and went out at 1PM till about 2:30, all I can say it was HOT HOT HOT!!! Whew, won't be doing that again anytime soon. The bite was tough to say the least, did manage even under the tough conditions and having so much sweat in my eyes I could barely see the graph, to catch a limit of box fish. Had to work for this one, here's Marshal and Chris with there best of the day. Soaking up as much A/C as I can and getting ready to hit it again tomorrow, have some good fish located and hopefully they won't move too far my the a.m.

Thanks, I'll answer 2 questions at once. The new Redneck Rig is a Polar 220 Bay Boat powered by a Yamaha F 250 4 stroke Salt Water Series outboard with a rip tide 101 thrust trolling motor and HDS7 Lowrance color graph with navionics. Had the pleasure of fishing with James Lumby and his kiddoes and fatherinlaw today and first off they are great folks, well behaved kids and we had a blast if I may say so myself. Found the big fish again and we caught a 20 fish limit to over 12LBS. Still ledges and edges, still on artificials and still putting the smack down on em. Love it when a plan comes togeather. We started out running the lake to where I found all the fish yesterday and they where still there just couldn't get em to go real ggod, I think we pulled 2 box fish from that area, as I was glassing the lake I noticed the birds working and the Whites schooling like crazy so we headed that way. Dropped the baits (Jigs and trailers) down below the frenzy and slammed a big one just off the point and it was on like crazy after that went from 2 fish to 17 in no time. The bite slowed and we caught a few more dinks in the same area near the point and river channel. I moved us toward deeper water away from the point and the screen lit up again and we finished the day with another 10 LB fish. Big fish, drags screaming, rods doubled over and wrists sore from reeling in fish. You know you've had a great day catching when your hands are bleeding worse than the fish you caught! Gotta run, phones ringing and getting ready to do it again in the am. Will be away from my computer as I am staying at the lake lot the next several days with no computer access so if you want to book a trip and catch big fish hit me on my cell at 817-822-5539. Continue to the pics!
