I am taking a firend fishing on the monday morning after the fourth.I plan on fishing tops in the morning and c-rig the submersed bridges in front of rainswood and in birch (514),any where close to these where and what on topwater. Also what else is working on the bridges and road beds (I throw watermelon red zoom french frys 90% of the time).

Fire Fighter..

There is a team tournament on Fork this weekend so lips are a little tight.

As long as you are on grass/ timber with deep water close in either of those areas you can get a topwater bite early and late.

Good colors for deep / roadbed fish are Merthiolate,Red Shad, Black Blue, and Green Pumkin... Chart Pepper works too. The Lake Fork Tackle "Ring Fry or jr Ring Fry" is hard to beat on a C-rig. Be sure to take plenty of Drinking Water, Sun screen and Hydrate regularly.

Have a Safe Trip and Good Luck Yall! cheers

I'm fishing Fork this weekend.. give me a holler Monday and I give you some more info on baits and boat lane markers.

I haven't been since last fall but the lane markers in that area are usually accurate.

The boat lanes are well marked. You shouldn't have any problem going from Sun Eagle bay to Rainswood.

I only get to go once a year plus my lowrance is too old for any cards, my friend is new to bass fishing and is really excited.I told him about this site and all the great guys in the bass fishing community on here. Thanks guys for all the info, hopefully our outing won't be so bad.

the grass bed on the nain lake side outside of axtons is good(across from rainswood road bed)

the boat houses and grass on the main lake shoreline south of birch are good too. theres always public hump this time of year as well, may have to elbow youself in on that one.

good luck
