Im thinking about getting into Kayaking and was wondering about community lakes. Is it legal to fish from a kayak on these types of lakes/ponds or illegal? never seen anything posted saying it isnt illegal...thanks.

I live in Lewisville also and from what i see around here your ok to fish them long as they are not on private land or have a sighn. I wanted to fish the canals throughout coppell in my yak but there are sighns all over saying coppell residents only. Got a customers address for next time i go out there. If you decide to try a pond your not sure about usually you just get a warning.

Lubbock allows thenm in the city lakes, but some lakes they want you to get a free permit sticker from Parks dept in Lubbock
anywhere else I'd think is ok if your not crossing or on private property
