I can't find it. The cover for it must be grown over. It's an inline valve and the area it covers is not watering. I've tried a probe, and that hasn't worked. Is there another way to find it? Any sprinkler guys out there to give some hints? Thanks.

Will that find it? There's no metal in it other than 5 stainless steel screws. Any treasure hunters know if a detector will pick it up? That would be great if it worked.

Get a wire tracer from someone, hook it up to the wire to that valve at the controller and follow the signal. The only real way to find it.

Ring Fry is right. You will need a wire tracer, 521 or Armada. You can probably rent one from an irrigation supply house for $50. Or call on an experienced licensed irrigator to find it for you.
Could be a bad solenoid, stuck diaphragm, cut station wire, or bad wire splice.
I have had people use witching sticks to find the valves. A metal detector may work.

Thanks Sprinklerman. I've got a stabbing probe, I think I'll try that first....and I hope it works. If not, your suggestion will be plan B.

If you know anyone that works for a utility, they will have one that locates lines.

IF there is ANY metal in that thing, any decent metal detector will find it.
