Is there a preferred company to buy rod components if you were going to start (or attempt) making your own rods? Any help is appreciated.....

I like Mudhole Custom Tackle. Just my choice cause of never having any problems there.

Check out the sponsors on rodbuilding.org. Mudhole has a lot of different items but the shipping outrageous. Seriously, if you order 10 different items you might get 4 different packages all with separate shipping. It's because they drop-ship a lot of their stuff.
