I hope you get a good response from this post cause I was wondering the same thing. I used to love to crappie fish years ago when I had access to a boat. I'd love to find some spots to crappie fish from the bank.

well if u dont mind the drive. theres a bunch crappies under the 35 and lewisville bridge. throw past the pillars, wait about 10 secs to drop and then start jiggin back between the pillars. i went last weekend and caught alot of small ones and only one keeper. i just threw it back. u gotta go in the morn right at sunrise. i used 2 1/16 jig heads with the colors of char. and black. they stop hittin at around 10 or so. good luck gentlemen...

ps and u will be out of the sun and not have to sweat ur ba**s off! haha

I was going to say the same when I read this but did not have time to post. Really how many people do you think are going to show up reading this thread ,5 at most. Most guys are so scared to say anything, like they think a million people will show up.

fish from the south. seen some guys fishing on the north side but didnt see them pull up anythin. alot of boaters under the bridge after 10a. and thanks perch jerker. and i mean its summer!! cant fish on the dock with no cover for crappie!! last year i (meaning me and 2 other of my peoples) caught 33 crappies at lake arlington under the dock at 1 o clock in the afternoon. i think it was 100 degrees. guest its not too bad holding an umbrella!! went out there last week and didnt catch anythin... but i also heard that they raked all the brush from under the dock. sucks!! but o well...

good luck yall

+1 on 35 bridge in lewisville... Perch & Tinhead...its no secret though... Every day I drive by there and there are at least 5 cars parked there, and sometimes as many as 15. That spot has been hot for years. I would think that you would have more people come in out of curiosity from seeing that other ppl are fishing there.
