Are there any travels cases or any ideas any of you guys have for transporting large electronics such as 1197 or hds 10. They are very expensice units to just set in the back seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a Lowrance 110C with the large 10" screen. I use a laptop case from Walmart. It's a snug fit that does well protecting the graph.

Pelican for the cell, IPOD, and just about everything else. Great products!

I dont see them on the website, but Cabelas the last time I was there had carrying cases for your electronics. They were padded and had multiple sizes with dividers that could be moved around to accomidate different units. Might give that a try.

I use a pistol case. Not water proof but, sure stacks alot nicer in the closet when not in use.

If you have a store called "Crate & Barrel" near you check it out. The have sturdy black foam filled cases of all sizes and shapes. They also have bulk foam so you can customize the inside fit on the item. I've got everything from pistols to cameras to paint spray guns in them. The outside is like the stuff they make the new power tool cases from.
