Not looking for secret spots, but can anybody point me to a few spots I can take my dad?? He loves crappie fishing.....and are the crappie more into jigs or minnows on the 'Vine?? thanks!!

If you live in Gainesville and have a boat, why not go to Moss Lake?? It's a ton closer to you and is not nearly as hard to fish as
Grapevine.

Just go out there and follow Guy around, thats what I do. Hey Guy, maybe it's skeeter in his other little boat you've seen following you.  I would follow you, but I usually get to the spots before you do at least in Grapevine & Lewisville.

Fished for whites. Caught 2 striper, a nice hybrid and a ton of HUGE sandies. Fished with Spanky and Lakeguide.

Nice Sorry to high jack the thread KLA.... i'll forgive you if you tell me where to find some crappie...lol..we will fish Moss, always do, but we have wanted to try Grapevine for 2 yrs....boat broke down last year so we've been looking forward to this....know where to look for sandies and bass, just need to know about crappie now...also where can we clean fish...is there a cleaning station at the ramps???
