With the smoothest riding boat thread going, I just figured a roughest riding boat thread would be a nice addition to the conversation!

So whats the roughest riding boat you have ever been in???

I know the driver has alot to do with it, but just try to answer it anyway!!

On the small boat side I would go with the aluminum Bass Trackers!

On the big boat side I would have to say the 19' Skeeter I rode in on Lake Fork many years ago! I dont know if the guy just didnt know how to drive or what, but that boat beat the snot out of me and the lake wasnt even that rough!

I've got an 18' Skeeter and she's fine as long as the waves are under 3'.

She's really pretty smooth for a shorter boat. But when the wind is up you will get beat like a rented mule

Some of the Skeeters I have been in have been the worst at being wave slappers. This is with guys that know how to drive or me driving myself. I have a close friend on their national prostaff and he himself will say it beats him to death but fishes great.

My buddies 1996 201 Procraft. Bad driver for sure, but it would rattle your guts around bad. I had the wind knocked out of me more than once.

If the Skeeter's slapping waves he's not going fast enough or is trimmed up too much.

My first boat......Ranger 374V. My kidneys still hurt from over 15yrs ago....dang that was a good fishing platform, though.

my '94 17' Xpress (alumaweld)...

I have to wear a full slicker anytime the water temp is below 70...

After about 15 trips to conroe my boat needs some welding done to reinforce the front where the trolling motor sits (luckily it ain't the actual hull itself).

My boat will beat you to death in a 5-10 mph chop.

It is great for fishing backwaters and <3000 acre lakes back home in NE Louisiana which is what the boat was originally intended for...
