It's a nice rod, light and sensitive. The new Castaway rods are all nice. They've really stepped up.

Troutfinder...I know I mentioned this in an earlier reply, but the 6'2" Skeleton Recoils are awesome. You do not seem to be on a limited budget, since you mentioned you might be buying a Calais. I made a mistake in my last email and called it 6'3". I looked at my rod earlier and saw my mistake. A Calais on a Recoil Skeleton is as good as it gets in my opinion. I have a Loomis stick and when I jump out of the boat I always have my Skeleton in hand. Take my word for it.

ive got an xp3 grass master rod, all in all its a pretty good rod, it has a nice tip but with some back bone, its kinda heavy and the cosmetics are not as flashy as most of the higher end rods but for the money its pretty useful
