The fish definately floated across the marina.. belly up... thats a fact.. maybe it wasn't dead, I am no fish coronor.. but not many live fish swim on their back.

I will see you every tursday, and I enjoy the passion that we all share, so I won't trade any more words after this.. You say you did all you could.. I am sure you are a man of your word. I just don't know of any other place a fish could feel safer than in the water.. not a livewell on a 95 degree night...

And for the future... try a 3 ounz sinker in the throat with about 30 feet of string tied to it.. the sinker will help the bass get to deeper water where the pressure will stabilize. Then when you feel him /her come alive.. snatch the sinker out with the string...

And I would like to think that my two cents was worth something.. there is now a new tournie 'rule'... allowance to way an early fish for the sake of saving it.. anytime we discuss conservation.. it is worth something.

No hard feelings.. remember, that is some of my money you take home with you... Can't be mad at that.

I am impressed. Thats a big number for Benbrook.I have fished that lake for 20 years and I only wish I could say "hundreds of very big fish" when it comes to Lake Stingy.I guess I need to implant a tracking device on your rig. LoL!!!! I need to come back out and fish some more of these tournaments.I fished two last month and it was a great bunch of guys and Ron at the marina does a great job. As far as fizzing bass goes, we all should have a needle and this link to a post is in-line with this discussion and it simplifies the fizzing process. Its good info and worth the time.I'll see you guys out there soon.

Did you come all the way from colleyville to fish with us?
It was a good turnout and the tourny is very laid back and there are some very nice people to meet. I hope to see you the next time you get to come.

I motion to ban p-tail from Benbrook. He is a fishing machine and just can't seem to be stopped.

Nice job last night John and Lynn! You guys are on fire.
