Mon I met up with my friend Mike at Possum Kingdom Lake, we fished Mon-Thurs and the wind was fierce, never even calmed down at night. We did not catch many fish but had a great few days despite the wind. Saw so many Bass in the shallows. Most fish caught were flippin' in the shallows around timber with a tomato worm, I did get one on a popper Thurs morning and Mike had one on a frog. I know we need wind to keep as cool as we can but this is wind is just wrong.

An 8.2, 2 6ers and another 5 or 6 that went 3-5. Bets 5 fish sack I have had in my 13 years here, it was a close 30 pounds. Went out of the wind....nada....went back and POW! A MAN WILL NEVER GO TO HIS GRAVE WISHING HE'D FISHED LESS!!
