Caught a church benefit on the Hwy 190 between Livingston and the Alabama Coushatta reservation. $5.00 a plate and you got 5 monster ribs or brisket,baked beans,tater salad, two slices of light bread, pickles and onions, and iced tea. Best ribs I have had a in a long time !! I should have bought a rack or two.

You sure should have. Did you just happen to come across it by chance or did you already know about it? A meal like that at a commercial bbq joint up here in Big D would be pushing 15 bucks.
I love east Texas ribs.

Found it by accident, but I will keep an eye out from now on when i go by there. Church could not hold more than 35 or 40 people.
