....you put two active crappie guides, and one inactive crappie guide in a boat, and put them on Cedar Creek. Chuck Rollins and myself neither had trips scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, so we got Ernest and went fishing at Cedar Creek...and please, no comments about Larry, Curley and Moe. Ernest (the ole man) had been under the weather for a couople weeks and NEEDED a good fishing trip. So, as might be expected, the wind blew both days 15-25 mph out of the south. But I gotta say, that didn't deter us any. We fished brushpiles in 12 to 20' of water and caught well over 100 crappie each day (Ernest had to be at the dock within 5 hrs...Dr. orders). Ernest and I both needed some fillets, so we kept about 30 each day for later grease.

I've got an idea why the wind blew the way it did.... Ernest has been cooped up so long that the smell needed to be blown off, but then again it might explain why he's holding a fish like that.... stink bait?????? Just pokin fun at ya Ernest, glad to know you getting better... Hope Faith is well also....
