how are the fish kept seperate on a party boat?

good question, usually they have stringers for each person and you keep your fish on your assigned stringer. at least thats what they do on bay party boats, not sure about deep sea party boats, did you mean deep sea party boats?

when i went out deep sea fishing-when we caught a keeper they gave us a stringer that had a metal tab on it and had my assigned "spot" on the boat stamped on it.

all the time i have been they just carve the assinged spot number into the fish and throw it into the cooler under deck. and sort them out when they get back to land.


i love to fish but catching is soooo much better!!

The offshore party boat we used to take out of Freeport handed each fisherman a burlap bag. You tired the bag to the rail to mark your spot and drop your catch in the bag.
