About a month ago, one of my customers asked me to bring my daughter along with him fishing because his daughter and mine are the same age. We had a daddy daughter day. Lots of fun and it was very noble gesture from him to do that. Well......things being they way they are, my 10 year old son has been on my case to take him with me on a guide trip ever since. And because I really cant just bring him along with paying customers, I thought I might just do a free weekday guide trip and bring him along for the fun.

BUT�..Why not have a little fun with giving it away??? What I have in mind is for the youngest member of the TFF that replies to one of the giveaway threads before 5pm Sunday - June 21 to win the trip. Now that member must have been signed up as a member here before today (June 16,2009). The trip will be a weekday trip on Lake Ray Hubbard and the mom, dad, or guardian must accompany them.

Help put the word out there. Maybe your son or daughter is not signed up, but you know a youngster on the forum that is? Let �em know all about it! We�ll see how this one turns out and if all goes well, I may do something like this once a month or so for different causes.

in your opinion or anyone elses that feels the need to chime in...how young is to young?

My daughter is 2.5 and I have recently been thinking about the idean of bringing her along with me when i go out. She has never been out before but she knows my pole rigged with a lure is for the fish and she luvs to point it out to me.

Would love to have a pro take her out for 30min to an hour just so she can catch a fish or two....but no she is not registered as a member
