Hey folks, was wondering if anyone here can give me opinions on the best of the 2 man bass fishing boats. I want an alum bass tracker but realistically that will probably be a year or two down the road - so I figured one of the small plastic rigs would work for now, to use on the smaller lakes. I can't remember but I think the ones I remember from way back when I was a kid were pelican and bassbuster? Any info would be appreciated!

Here is my custom 2 man bass jon boat. Works perfect for me and who ever else I have with me. Have even fished 3 out of it but not comfortably.

Doug, I started out a couple of years ago with the 10' Pelican green 2 man from Academy. Put a TM on it and fished the smaller lakes too. Even obtained a battery operated, portable fishfinder from Cabellas that worked great. I had a lot of fun in it, but progressed up to the aluminum Jon boats. I am blessed to now have the Pro Team 170 Bass Tracker, but I started out in the same way. Go to Academy or search Craig's List/this forum's classifieds, etc... for used. Can't beat 'em.

Have fun!

I am on my second Coleman Crawdad. 12', 40# Minn Kota, Hummingbird fish finder, bow and stern lights. I carry two batteries and have room for plenty of tackle and another person. I also have a home made livewell that I can put it it. The Pelican is a great set up, too. Good luck.
